Multi-pattern would have made it an absolute 10. Quality: Well build, solid, will probably survive a nuclear holocaust. Value: There are more versatile microphones on the market in the same price range, but none with the tonal quality of this mic. You'll have to go $2000+ to get this sound. Desirability: Big and beautiful! .. you can see the two tubes glow through 35 holes drilled in the back. You could use it as a nightlamp :) Sound: Crisp and warm. Has a little boost in the low mids which makes it very suitable for female vocals,piano's and others string instruments, while staying nice and neutral in the highs. Overall very natural, not hyped, while staying warm and full bodied. Ease of Use: No hassle at all. Plug and play. Support: Excellent support from SE Electronics. These people realy care about their products. You can even try their microphones seven days for free. Overall: Great vocal and piano microphone with the warmest and most natural sound in it's price range.
