Product Reviews for Prime CA30RC 30-Watt Acoustic Amplifier Feature: Overall decent sound. solid reverb. Awesome chorus. But at any professional volumes the 8-inch speaker breaks up. Quality: Nice looking, well crafted bedroom-size amp. Smaller than most boom boxes. "On the road?" Yeah, in motel rooms with 10 friends. Value: Expensive for bedroom amp although the chorus and reverb and fine and it's very attractive and nicely built. Desirability: Not fitting my needs Sound: Sounded good as a bedroom practice amp. We tried three guitars on it with poor results cranked up. The speaker began distortion before we reached "coffeehouse level" volume. Tried three different mikes in both mike inputs. Not enough volume for a garage gig. Also much, much smaller than photos make it appear because of small knobs. It does mike into a bigger amp well, but why carry two? Nice construction, nice low volume sounds for solidbody or a semi-hollow or jazz guitar practice. Period. Support: na Overall: It doesn't fit my needs for a practical small venue mike-guitar amp. Not nearly enough volume even for a coffeehouse or piano bar.
