Product Reviews for Rockman Metal Ace Headphone Amplifier
Feature: There are better mini-amps (with its own tiny speakers, with more than one knob for the volume) for less. Take the Marshall Miniamp, for example. There are others. None are great but they fulfil their purpose and they do not fetch the premium price the Rockman seems to be getting.
Quality: Power jack is loose and basically keeps one from playing with an external power source. Considering it's a portable amp without its own speaker, it's rather large.
Value: No, worth maybe half, or even a third. Rockmans were an innovation back in the day, but its time is basically past now, especially at this quality/feature level
Desirability: Basically like a black plastic Cracker Jack box...
Sound: It has your basic clean and distortion sounds, but no real variety. There are better mini-amps for less.
Support: Have not had dealings with them.
Overall: I got a more versatile practice amp for about a little over twice the cost of this Rockman, but it was worth every penny. The only reason I would use this Rockman is for playing in the airport, testing a guitar where they do not have an amp, etc.
