Product Reviews for Ahead 5B Limited Edition Chrome Drumsticks Feature: It is built like a rod of iron, giving it immeasurable duability, But it is quite expensive. You also have to keep buying shells for them though. Quality: The sticks are very comfortable and they don't make your hands sweaty like wood or wood dips. It takes a hell of a long time to damage them so they sound good AND so you don't have to buy new sticks, for a long peroid of time. Value: A bit top heavy with the price but it will be worth it, for you with not have to spend that much on sticks for a long time. Desirability: They look absolutely awesome and stylish plus they look cool flying through the air! Sound: The Ahead stick is kinda soft and hard at the same time. It make crashes crash and splashes splash. It's heavy, to give grunt behind the stroke, making you use your full body to get the stroke going, giving you wicked momentum. But they also have a lightness to them so they can easily be thrown about in your awesome fills and in your cymbal riding. AAAAANNNDDD, they look awesome as well. Overall: I would be very happy with this product. If the band I'm in takes off I would get sponsored by these guys!
